Blackie´s Bar was built by Blackie and Sara Gadarian in 1981 at Blackie´s Boat Yard in Lahaina, Maui. It was located half-way between downtown Lahaina and Kaanapali, across from the old pineapple cannery. |

Blackie and Sara met in 1958 while working together at AiResearch Aviation Service Company at Los Angeles airport. Blackie was sub-foreman/chief mechanic, and Sara worked in the Personnel Office. |
